Blair Creek Preserve is a prime example of pristine forest. This preserve is a huge piece of mature, deciduous forest located in the base of the Kittatinny Mountain.

There are two branches of Blair Creek that flow through this preserve coming together in a southern section and forming a marshy wetland. In this wetland and surrounding forest are wood turtles, bobcat, timer rattlesnakes, copperheads, black bear, porcupine, gray fox, red-shoulder haw, and barred owl, along with many smaller breeding birds of the forest.
