Features:
The Glovers Pond/Bear Creek piece is a very important acquisition because it has a high diversity of plant and animal species. Some of these species are threatened or endangered in New Jersey such as barred owl, red-shouldered hawk, bobcat and bog turtle. This area consists of deep deciduous forest, wetlands, swamps, fields and hemlock forest.
