THE RIDGE AND VALLEY REGION OF NORTHWESTERN NEW JERSEY
The Ridge and Valley Conservancy (RVC) envisions a community that conserves and cherishes our land, our water, our wildlife, and our way of life - now and for generations to come - through land purchases, easements, education, partnerships, stewardship, and well planned growth.
RVC has successfully preserved open space and farmland since 1992 in Sussex and Warren Counties, in northwestern New Jersey. Green spaces, tranquil farms, clear water, and wildlife bring us a sense of stability and raise our quality of life. RVC's land protecting efforts have permanently set aside nearly 3,000 acres of valuable forest, fields, and farmland at a cost of over $9.6 million. This land has been set aside for future generations to enjoy, for future farmers.
This land has been set aside to protect water quality and wildlife habitat, and assure land will be available for future generations to enjoy, for recreation and farming.
